Our Story

Why we started Minerva.

Haldwani already has established schools with years of legacy behind them. Minerva didn’t start by trying to compete with that - it started with a different question: what if a child’s curiosity mattered as much as their marks?

We built Minerva around progressive, child-centred learning - conceptual understanding over rote memorisation, real experience over worksheets, and a CBSE-aligned curriculum taught without piling extra books onto a child’s bag.

At Minerva, we believe a book is a beginning-not the boundary of learning. We follow NCERT as a strong academic foundation, while creating meaningful opportunities for children to question, explore, express, create and experience.

Our classrooms extend beyond textbooks into conversations, projects, presentations, performances and real-world experiences-nurturing not just academic learning, but confidence, curiosity, communication and character.

Because true education is not simply about knowing more; it is about becoming more-confident, capable, curious and compassionate individuals.

We create a learning environment where children are encouraged to ask questions, explore their interests and learn at their own pace. Our teachers focus on understanding each child, building confidence and helping them discover their own potential.

Children learn better when they can see, question, try and discover. Through activities, conversations, projects and real-world experiences, we take learning beyond simply remembering information.

NCERT at the Core

We teach through NCERT textbooks, keeping the academic journey clear and focused without placing an unnecessary load of books on children. The textbook provides the foundation; classroom experiences help children understand, apply and explore beyond it.

We actively create opportunities for children to speak, communicate, present and share their ideas. From everyday conversations to standing on a stage, children gradually build the confidence to express themselves without fear.
